FlexiRun® COLD2 is a double-layer, self-repairing industrial high-speed door that has been specially developed for environments where there is an extreme temperature difference between the two sides – even in sub-zero and above-zero ranges. Heated guide rails, motor heating and an integrated air drying system effectively prevent icing and condensation, ensuring trouble-free operation even in the coldest environments.
High speed door advantages
Double-insulated cover: the air duct between the two layers ensures excellent heat retention and low heat transfer (U-value: 1.4 W/m²K).
Anti-icing protection: heated guide rails, motor heating and control box heating for maximum operational reliability.
Self-repairing system: in the event of a collision, the curtain automatically re-engages with the rail, continuing operation without interruption.
Energy-efficient and fast operation: opening speed of up to 1.5 m/s, with inverter control for precise speed control.
Stainless steel design: available with AISI 304 or 316 steel construction, ideal for cold storage and food industry applications.
Safety in all situations: double light barrier, double jam sensor, flashing signal and optional microwave radar ensure maximum protection.

Thanks to its innovative heating and insulation system, it operates reliably even at temperatures as low as –35 °C, while maintaining temperature stability and minimizing energy consumption. Which gate do you recommend for the food industry area?
In the case of compliance with food industry standards, the entire structure must be made of stainless steel, including the shaft (AISI 304 or AISI 316). Is there a PVC high-speed door available for cleanroom environments?
Yes, such a solution exists — it is called the FlexiRun Airtight cleanroom PVC high-speed door. It is a fast-moving, roll-up industrial door designed for environments where low air permeability is essential. The patented sealing system of the FlexiRun® Airtight prevents air leakage, making it an ideal choice for locations where preventing the ingress or escape of clean or contaminated air is critical — such as cleanrooms and sterile environments in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and chemical industries.
The product’s performance is certified for ±50 Pa overpressure (Class 5) or depression conditions, in accordance with the UNI EN 12427:2002 standard. Its flat surfaces, inclined cover, and frame-integrated coaxial motor provide an aesthetic appearance, easy cleaning, and maximum reliability at the same time.
What extras are available with the IPR fast-track gates?
The industrial sector is fully covered. This includes food industry high-speed doors, cleanroom high-speed doors (up to 50 Pa), freezer warehouse high-speed doors (from -35°C to +60°C), and hangar doors (up to sizes of 16,000 mm × 20,000 mm).
They are available in stainless steel versions made of AISI 304 or AISI 316. Without extra charge, you can choose from 13 different curtain colors. The size of the transparent curtain can be customized individually, and there is also the option to personalize the curtain with company logos, advertisements, announcements, or images.
They can be ordered with a standard curtain (900 g/m², thickness 0.9 mm, U-value 5.7 W/m²K) or with an insulated curtain (1300 g/m², thickness 3.2 mm, U-value 3.9 W/m²K). FDA-approved curtains designed for food industry use are also available (U-value 5.7 W/m²K), and if anti-static properties are the primary requirement, that is also possible (1700 g/m², thickness 2 mm, U-value 5.6 W/m²K).
Of course, the PVC high-speed door can also be manufactured with a fire-resistant, drip-free curtain.
Safety is ensured by anti-jam photocells and an IP67-rated 2,500 mm high light curtain system, and many products operate with a self-repairing zipper system.
